This blog post from Roy Dental Care in Roy UT is for people with stained teeth. Do you think your teeth are too stained for teeth whitening to have any effect? Think again. Our teeth whitening can improve even the dullest of smiles.
There are two basic types of stains that we see: extrinsic and intrinsic.
- Extrinsic stains are surface stains on the teeth, caused by dark colored foods and drinks, smoking, and normal aging. These are the easiest to remove.
- Intrinsic stains form on the inside but can be seen from the outside. Tetracycline, excessive fluoride, trauma, and aging can cause intrinsic staining for unfortunate individuals. These stains are harder to remove. The process often takes longer, but intrinsic stains can be lightened.
We use Opalescence Boost teeth whitening, an in-office procedure that yields results that you’ll love. It is far superior to any product you’ll find at the grocery store.
